Happy new year!! I've just realised its February already and I haven't posted any news!! A lot has been happening with several exhbitions happening this year.

First I am continuing to develop my work using the Inca Gods and the Nazca lines as inspiration. I have been reading Tim Ingold"s anthropology of lines and this has led me in an interesting direction which involves both painting and printing!! So watch this space as I will be posting images of my work!!

Exhibition dates for 2011 : May open studios at WAS, June "Unititled" at Chelsea Town Hall, there is also the possibility that I'll be exhibiting at "Parallax" which is a New Art Fair in Pall Mall at the end of June, September group exhibition at the Redgate Gallery, Camberwell, November, open studios WAS. I will post dates nearer the time.

Recent work

For those of you who didn't make it to my open studio exhibition. This is some of my recent work. I was feeling nostalgic and am painting Inca images. I have also been considering ,as always, how we classify art and how we classify craft....Hope you like them!

Sounds Like Mischief at Proud Camden was a fantastic night and its great to have beeen invited back. I am planning on setting up an installation in one of the stables which will be good fun!! So keep an eye open for dates for this event which I will be posting on this blog.

Now am working towards our Open Studios show at Wimbledon Art studios which will run from Thursday November 25th to Sunday November 28th. You can visit the website at www.wimbledonartstudios.co.uk to see the range of artwork being made at the studios. Hope to see you there!

And for those of you who are based in Kent, or fancy a trip to the seaside, our Made in Whitstable Showcase 2 will be running from November 17th until the 23rd at the Horsebridge Centre.
