Just an update on why its been so quiet on my blog!!! I have decided to have a sabbatical and concentrate on developing work without the pressures of exhibiting....

This has been harder to do than it might at first seem, however an interesting body of work is starting to emerge. I also decided not to post images of the work on my blog as I want my next exhibition to be fresh.

However.....I have now been invited to take part in GHOSTS , showing in gallery 3 at the Horsebridge Centre. This is going to be great fun and I hope you can find the time to visit it!!

Katerin Seda's "From Morning Till Night"

taking part in the action
at St. Benet's Church

I spent an hour learning Czech, it was great!!

Thankyou to our lovely teachers seen here in action.

You can just about see my finished pieces for Katerina Seda's From Morning Till Night. The larger piece by the wall is a watercolour. It's been a long time since I painted using watercolours and I rediscovered how much I enjoy the process!!

All the artworks made on the day will form part of a larger exhibition of Katerina's and will also be included in a book. I'll keep you posted when I know more.........

These are two more aspects of the photos I was sent to draw or paint as part of Katerina Seda's Action . I was positioned at St. Benet's Church, helping to map the outskirts of Bedrichovice upon London. I then drew and painted a specific angle of Bedrichovice (see yesterdays post) while facing St. Benet's Church. At the same time the villagers from Bedrichovice performed activities in and around the Church.
Photos of us painting and the villagers actions (for example teaching Czech in the church) will follow as will photos of the sketches and paintings.
Let me know if you were there!!!
